Glimpses of Me

The title of the piece is also the name of an art show I am entering this piece into. This piece centers around my love of marine biology and how it has shaped my life and my career goals. I started doing marine summer camps that first made me passionate enough to become scuba certified and attend a ecology class in the Florida Keys.I did the class twice and listened to lectures about fish species. I was also an Educator in an aquarium where I could connect to other people through my passion of marine biology. The cetacean tail could be mistaken for a whale tail bit it is actually a dolphin tail, I have swam with dolphins four times. The rest are ocean animals I have seen subdividing, snorkeling, in aquariums, and documentaries that I had watched completely fascinated. The design is also very important because it came from a coloring book from bookstore in Florida. I have read throughout my life which makes books also a big part of my childhood and almost all of my experience with marine biology has come from Florida and has shaped the career I want. I am now striving for a major in the sciences and eventually a PHD.
